ATHAMES

An Athame is a double-edged ritual knife with a black handle. It is used to direct the energy raised in a ritual and during spell work and is not used for cutting. Its phallic nature links it to the God. It‘s associated element is Air and the direction of East. The Athame symbolises Intellect and the Will.
