A chalice is a goblet or a glass, the function of the Chalice is primarily to hold the ritual wine. The Chalice is female and symbolises the Goddess and as such represents fertility, marriage, abundance and plentiful sustenance. The associated element is Water, its direction is West. It is linked with feelings and emotion.
